Wizz Air and “Odesa” International airport start their cooperation with 6 new destinations

Today on August 5th, Odesa airport and Wizz Air held a joint press conference on the occasion of the beginning of their cooperation.

Director of “Odesa” International airport LLC, Pavlo Prusak, Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer Vyacheslav Cheglatonev, head of culture and tourism of Odesa city council Tetyana Markova, and Manager of corporate communications of Wizz Air Paulina Gosk took part in the press conference.

During the press conference, the airline representative announced the opening of 6 new destinations from the airport of Odesa: Budapest, Bratislava, Berlin, Wroclaw, Gdansk, Katowice.

Paulina Gosk also marked: “Today we are celebrating an important event, adding the fourth airport to the low-cost network route in Ukraine and offering 7 new destinations from Odesa and Lviv. From today, thanks to the convenient schedule of WIZZ flights at prices from 429 * UAH, our Ukrainian passengers can easily go on a journey from Odesa to Budapest, Bratislava, Krakow, Gdansk or Wroclaw".

  • Odesa-Wroclaw
    As of November 1st on Mondays and on Fridays;
  • Odesa-Berlin
    As of November 2nd on Tuesdays and on Saturdays;
  • Odesa-Budapest
    As of November 2nd on Wednesdays and on Sundays;
  • Odesa-Gdansk
    As of November 2nd on Tuesdays and on Saturdays;
  • Odesa-Katowice
    As of November 5th on Tuesdays and on Saturdays;
  • Odesa-Bratislava
    As of November 6th on Wednesdays and Sundays.

“Odesa” International airport served over 1,446 mln passengers in cooperation with 23 aviation companies in 2018. This is almost 18% higher than in 2017. Regular flights were operating in 24 destinations. In September 2018, the airport set its own record by welcoming a millionth passenger.
